Vial of Ink Bug? - Guild Wars Forums

Anyone ever locate a Materials Vendor who will craft something using the materials you have? Well, I located one, and in order to make a Vial of Ink, he required a Tempered Glass Vial. So I had him make one of those with various materials... and then craft a Vial of Ink. HOWEVER... when I look at the vial it states... "Rare Crafting Material"... and it's not usable.

I was thinking that he would take those supplies and put together a random colored (usable) vial. Is this a bug, or normal? If it's normal... then how do you make use of this now "rare crafting material"?

Are you perhaps confusing a Vial of Ink for a Vial of Dye?

Dye is what you use to color your armor and whatnot.

Ink is apparently used in monk tattoos later.
